Summary

Staff Engineer with 20+ years in infrastructure, platform engineering and data. I work across the full stack of operational concerns - from AWS architecture and IaC through to data pipelines, warehousing, and BI. At Jumptech I hold a dual DevOps and data engineering role, which means I see both the infrastructure and the business problems it serves. My project work has been the primary basis for six-figure R&D tax credit claims for two consecutive years. I think in systems, understanding not just how things work but why they fail, where complexity hides, and how to build things that stay reliable. I’m at my best leading technical strategy in small, high-autonomy teams where breadth matters more than narrow specialism.
